Katarina Witt measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Katarina started skating ice at the age of five. Then, her talent became evident, and in Karl-Marx-Stadt she enrolled in an institution specifically designed for children with sporting talents. Here she first met the teacher Jutta M ller. Witt made her mark when she was ranked second in the 1982 World Championships, held in Copenhagen. Following that, she started winning the competition with her elegance and grace. Olympic success At the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Games, Katarina Witt came through a closely battle to take home the women's figure skating gold medal. The following year, she won another contest that was even more competitive. The free skater was unable to win however she was awarded the gold medal in the figures that were compulsory and her short programme. Witt is the only female figure skater who has won the same event twice since Sonja Heine. Hall of Fame Witt competed in the Lillehammer Winter Games in 1994 after a successful career as an actor. The crowd was captivated by her performance despite her having was seventh. Witt got her induction into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame on the 15th of April, 1995.
