Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching working and going to practice sessions for plays. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. The year 1997 was the time she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They got married in December 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. After she had converted to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's birth took place May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk is known for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. Silk's portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has earned it a large internet following.
